Citizenship

Canadian citizenship can be acquired by naturalization or by birth in Canada.

To qualify for citizenship through naturalization, some of the following conditions must be meet

Age- One must be 18 years old to apply

Permanent resident status- Your Permanent residence status must be in good status and all residence obligations has been meet.

time you have lived in Canada (residence)- You must have been physically present in Canada as a permanent resident for at least 1,460 days during the six years immediately before the date of your application. You must also be physically present for at least 183 days during each of four calendar years that are fully or partially within the six years immediately before the date of application. .
